Goldfields Aboriginal workers who deal with alcohol and other drug issues as part of their work met for the first time in Kalgoorlie on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 June 2010. Participants appreciated the chance to share information about the services available in the Goldfields and to discuss ways to improve services for local Aboriginal people. Aboriginal AOD Forum - Registrations Open
The 2010 Aboriginal AOD Forum is set for 5 and 6 May at the Mercure Hotel, Perth. WANADA invites Aboriginal workers from around the state to attend the event, which is funded by the Drug and Alcohol Office (DAO) and the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (OATSIH) and will include presentation of the Strong Spirit Strong Mind Awards. To register a worker from your agency to attend, please fill out a registration form.
