Minister Launches Resource for Family Violence and AOD Workers

The Hon Robyn McSweeney MLC; Minister for Child Protection, Community Services, Volunteering and Women’s Interests officially launched Supporting Women with Complex Needs Guide for Good Practice and Support on Friday 4 December at City West Lotteries House.




Developed by the Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence Services (WA) in partnership
with WANADA, the guide has been developed to assist community sector staff when working with
women escaping domestic and family violence and who use alcohol and other drugs.

 

The launch was part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence and guests included Alison Xamon, MLC.
