Aboriginal Network Project Officer
Join the Aboriginal Services Team at the Western Australian Network of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies (WANADA) in this unique role. As the peak body for alcohol and other drug services (AOD) in WA we support over 90 member agencies to best meet the needs of their communities.
Aboriginal Network Project Officer - $60,000 to $65,000
(plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options)
You will be responsible for supporting Aboriginal workers and organisations in the Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) sector through the provision of resources and facilitation of networking and professional development opportunities. Your work will include a focus on improving services for consumers with co-occurring mental health and AOD use. This will involve working with Aboriginal workers and services across WA, turning issues into outcomes and supporting Aboriginal workers to meet together.
This position is initially offered for 12 months with the likelihood of extension.

Operations Manager

Operations Manager - $78,000 to $82,000
(plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options)
You will be responsible for managing WANADA's operations. This includes supporting the development of funding submissions, overseeing the set up of new projects and ensuring reporting requirements are met. As a member of the Management Team you will also provide leadership and support to staff, contributing to WANADA achieving its strategic purpose.
This position is offered for 12 months (to cover an internal secondment for the current post holder), with the possibility of extension.

Indigenous Youth Against Grog Project Officer
Join the Western Australian Network of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies (WANADA) in this exciting new role. As the peak body for alcohol and other drug services (AOD) in WA we support over 90 member agencies to build their capacity to meet the needs of communities across the state. The Indigenous Youth Against Grog project will develop regional and age appropriate, Aboriginal culturally secure education and prevention materials to raise awareness and reduce the risks of binge drinking amongst the 12-24 age group in the Meekatharra and Roebourne areas.
Indigenous Youth Against Grog Project Officer - $55,000- $57,000 pro rata
(plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options)
As the Project Officer you will drive the project by facilitating networks, conducting evaluations, sourcing education materials and supporting the regions and young people involved. You will need to understand Aboriginal culture and ways of working, have experience of working with the 12-24 age group and be able to combine your knowledge of prevention, community and/or youth development with an interest in and knowledge of new technologies.
