    Goldfields Aboriginal workers who deal with alcohol and other drug issues as part of their work met for the first time in Kalgoorlie on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 June 2010. Participants appreciated the chance to share information about the services available in the Goldfields and to discuss ways to improve services for local Aboriginal people. Aboriginal AOD Forum

Thank you to everyone who attended the Aboriginal Alcohol and Other Drug  Forum in early May. Presenters spoke on subjects as varied as the new Strong Spirit Strong Mind resources, culturally secure supervision, AOD service provision and funding throughout Australia, and how to recruit and retain Aboriginal staff members.
