The Diversion program offers counselling and rehabilitation for drug problems to people who might otherwise receive custodial sentences. WANADA's Diversion Policy and Support Project aims to support the workers and services involved in this program.
Diversion Policy Support
Supports policy development, workforce development, promotion of the sector, and Aboriginal participation strategies regarding police and court diversion. The project supports the security of funding for a significant percentage of services in the sector.

Regional Networking
WANADA is the fund holder for Diversion-preferred regional services that wish to access workforce development activities. Activities may include training, conferences, seminars or forums.
