The Standard on Culturally Secure Practice (Alcohol and other Drug Sector) assists alcohol and other drug agencies and their staff, management and boards to work on the continuous quality improvement of their services.

Alcohol and other drug agencies throughout Australia can have the quality of their service recognised through certification against the Standard.

WANADA is committed to making alcohol and other drug services culturally secure so that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are able to access them without compromising their cultural or family values.

WANADA supports agencies that offer services to Aboriginal people, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who work in the alcohol and other drug sector.
