WANADA Board Welcomes Professor Mike Daube as Chair

WANADA is pleased to welcome Professor Mike Daube as Chair of the WANADA Board. Professor Daube is Director of the McCusker Centre for Action on Alcohol and Youth and the Public Health Advocacy Institute of WA. He has worked on alcohol and drug issues for many years, and was previously also Director General of Health for WA and Chair of the WA Alcohol and Drug Authority. He was recently Deputy Chair of the Federal Government's Preventative Health Taskforce. He is also currently Chair of the National Alliance for Action on Alcohol, President of the Australian Council on Smoking and Health and with Professor Fiona Stanley co-convenor of the new WA Alliance for Action on Alcohol and Youth. Professor Daube is a strong voice on alcohol, tobacco and other drug issues and, along with his fellow Board members, will be a strong voice for the not-for-profit alcohol and other drug sector in WA.
