Reconciliation Action Plan

Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia CEO David Templeman officially launched WANADA's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) on Wednesday 14 December 2011.

Reconciliation Australia's RAP program encourages and supports organisations to engage within their sphere of influence in the national effort to close the 17-year gap in life expectancy between Indigenous and other Australians.

Reconciliation Australia endorsed the RAP in November.

Actions in WANADA's RAP include following Welcome to Country and Acknowledgement of Traditional Owner protocols, and to develop and maintain an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' culture and history.
